Almonds

Assalammualaikum...heee

just want to share.. when im wake up this morning,im craving something suddenly. Almonds.. weird rite..heee..
here's some information about almonds...



Almonds are important for health as nutritional variety, it can be eaten raw, steamed like legumes or mixture of substances used as food such as cakes and so on. Almonds contain 20 times more protein than other cereals. Fat and high carbohydrate content, therefore it contains high sugar compared to other fruits. Vitamin B content in almonds is greater than  vitamin in eggs, as well as niacin that owns more than wheat. Calcium content also overcome the element content in milk and phosphorus content exceeds cheese. Almonds is suitable for children because of their usefulness to help growth, as well as build bones and teeth. While to adults about it can help their heart healthy.
Many people are afraid to take the almonds. The same applies to the types of other beans as a high fat content.

Actually you do not have to be afraid to take because even almond almonds contain high quantities of fat, but 90% of the fat in almonds is unsaturated fats(lemak taktepu) that your body needs.
The fat content of mono-unsaturated (monounsaturated fat) levels in almonds, as found in olive oil makes almond become great weapons to fight the LDL cholesterol in your body.

Almonds Prevent Osteoporosis

Almonds are also said to prevent osteoporosis. 30gm almonds (25-30 seeds) has the same calcium content as available from 1/4 cup milk. Calcium is useful for preventing osteoporosis.

High folate content in almonds is very useful indeed for women who are pregnant. Folate is essential to prevent birth defects during pregnancy.

Almonds Reduce the Risk of Various Diseases

Some studies also show that certain types of nuts, especially almonds, can reduce the risk of cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease and several other chronic diseases.

In a study that was published in the 'American Journal of Clinical Nutrition', reported that almonds can reduce cholesterol levels comparable to the effects of drug use 'statin'.
